Cadw's description

In 'The Square' at the top of the street between the Queen's Coffee Tavern and the Bear Hotel.

Assymetrical group of C19 properties (on 1840 Tithe Map) with later alterations.

3-storey scribed render and roughcast frontages, 1-window to No 1, 2-window to Nos 2 and 3, No 3 set back with plinth; overall 2nd floor cill band and end pilaster strip to No 1. Slate roofs with cross gable treated as open pediment to No 2, narrow and boxed eaves, rendered chimney stack to right end. Sash windows, mostly with glazing bars; segmental heads to 2nd floor of No 2 and lugged architraves to No 1. 5-light shop front to No 1, modern shop fronts to Nos 2 and 3, roughcast left gable end with 2-light sash windows.
