Cadw's description

On an island site in the centre of Market Square enclosed behind iron railings.

Erected in 1923.

Granite. Tapering octagonal cross on stepped base set upon a panelled octagonal pedestal with plain plinth. Great War commemorative tablets on pedestal. Wreath relief to plinth with 2nd Word War inscriptions added to outer corners.
