History
A K6 telephone kiosk of the type designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, architect of London, introduced by the GPO in 1936.
Exterior
A K6 square red kiosk of cast iron, on a moulded plinth. The domed roof has 4 lunettes containing embossed crowns over red-lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds with marginal bars to horizontal glazing.
Reason for designation
Listed for its contribution to the historic character of the village centre.
