Monument of l827 over the grave of Dafydd Ionawr, local poet and governor of Bodlondeb Gaol. Tall ashlar pyramid on string course with ashlar pedestal and plinth. Inscribed: BEDD. DAFYDD IONAWR on band with letters MS, to E. Pedestal inscribed: BU FARW MAI XII MDCCCXXVII EI OEDRAN LXXVII, to S; BARDI CHRISTIANI MERVINIENSIS OB AD MDCCCXXVII ACTAT SUAE LXXFII, to E; Rev J Jones AM DE YNYSFAIG POSUIT, to N.
