Cadw's description

Almost at right angles to the Old Town Hall, formed out of cross angles to the rear or Mathan House.

Part of the C19 creation of Market Square but its origins may go back to C17 - the date of Mathan House.

2-storey part rendered fronts with gable to No 3; No 4 has been altered by the insertion of a modern attic facing SW. Sash window and 6-panel loading door to 1st floor to No 3; simple shop front below. Modern window to No 4 in C19 opening with decorated architrave; shop front below with dentil cornice.
