Approx 100 metres E of farmhouse.
History
Earlier C19, but probably with earlier origins.
Exterior
Random irregular local rubble walls, gables with copings and kneelers, slate roof, simple stone lintels. Side elevations have two tiers of vertical ventilation slits. Building formerly completely lofted and was used for drying of bark for tanning industry. South gable end with doorway (stone lintel) and ventilation slits on three levels. North gable has, to L, door under deep stone lintel, and stone stair up to similar loft door over which is small square opening.
Interior
Roof of 2 tie-beam trusses (sawn timbers) and 2 tiers of purlins.
