Milestone, tall white painted stone, triangular section with curved top. E and W sides have 'ABERYSTWYTH 1 MILE' at the top in black good quality lettering. E side continues from the top 'RHAYADER 33 KINGTON 59 HEREFORD 79 WORCESTER 98 CHELTENHAM 118 LONDON 209 GLOUCESTER 110 BRISTOL 145'. W side reads LLANIDLOES 28 NEWTOWN 43 WELSHPOOL 48 SHREWSBURY 75 BIRMINGHAM 118 LONDON 209 LIVERPOOL 108 MANCHESTER 131', both in similar lettering.
