Milestone probably early C19 on turnpike road from Brecon to Neath, shown on the 1885 Ordnance Survey.
Exterior
A freestone milestone with a rounded top, inscribed 'BRECON 14'.
Reason for designation
Included for special historic transport interest as a good surviving early C19 milestone, one of a series of well-preserved milestones on the A4059 in Hirwaun and Ystradfellte communities.
