Medieval churchyard crosses served as stations for outdoor liturgical processions and to denote the sanctity of the cemetery for Christian burial.
Exterior
Medieval churchyard cross. Three steps of roughly coursed rubble support a broached socket stone from which rises the narrow chamfered shaft and replaced head of Maltese format.
