Cadw's description

On the E side of St Mary's Street some 45m S of the junction with St George's Street.

One half of a later C19 pair of 3-storey houses, with Paignton House. Evidence found in stonework of No 7 suggests that Devonia predated No 7, possibly originally a smaller house raised in the late C19.

Right house of a mirrored pair of stuccoed houses with slate close-eaved roof and left end stack. Three storeys, double-fronted with paired doors in centre and blank windows over. Raised quoins, plinth and shouldered surrounds to blank centre openings. Gabled dormer to each house, with 4-pane sash, 2-storey canted oriel window on 1st and 2nd floors with 2-4-2-pane glazing, opening side lights, chamfered and stopped surrounds, and moulded cornices. Ground floor 4-pane sash below. Paired centre doorways have plain stucco surround with cornice on 2 console brackets. C20 doors with plain overlights.
Slate-hung end walls.

Included as a later C19 stuccoed pair of group value in St Mary's Street.
