Location

High Street has ascending numbers downhill on S side to Beaufort Square, then uphill from number 24 on N side

History

Probably early C19 frontage with C20 shopfronts.

Exterior

Georgian building with two separate shopfronts, accommodation space above, attached at each side. Rendered with pantile roof and narrow brick end stack. Three storeys. Three window range of cambered-headed sashes with exposed frames, 4/8 to top floor, 8/8 to first floor. C20 shopfronts.

Listed as a building within the historic centre retaining character. Group value with other listed buildings in High Street and Beaufort Square.
