Location
Set along the W side of the country road leading through the centre of the village of Carreglefn; the S cottage is at the L (S) end of the row of two.
History
Late C18 or early C19 row of 2 cottages. There are no cottages marked on the Tithe Map of the parish of Llanbadrig, 1844; but the schedule records cottages and gardens on the site, occupied by Richard Jones and others and owned by Owen Williams and David Jones.
Exterior
The N cottage abuts the rear of Ty Newydd. The windows are 2-pane sashes with margin panes.

Interior not inspected at time of survey.
Reason for designation
Listed as one of a pair of well-preserved vernacular cottages. With Ty Newydd, an exceptional group of this once common cottage type, now becoming rare.
