Location
Approximately 2km E of Llantilio Crossenny. Gatepiers are set back from on the N side of the B4233.
History
Designed c1882 by F.R. Kempson as part of the estate plan for Tal-y-coed Court.
Exterior
Gatepiers, piers and walls in coursed rubble stone. Circular gatepiers, some 3m high, have moulded stone caps and ball finials; ornamental wrought iron double-gates. The attached side walls curve forward to shorter circular piers with moulded caps (some 2m high) and the coping is swept down.

Late C19 Gatepiers, Piers and Walls having important group value with the neighbouring Drinking Trough, Entrance Lodge and other listed buildings at Tal-y-coed Court.
