Location
Glanmachlas is a Peniarth Estate farm, immediately outside the NE estate boundary wall. The range forms the SE side of the elongated farmyard behind the house.
History
Constructed in the mid C19 when the farm was undergoing major improvements undertaken by the Peniarth Estate.
Exterior
A long low range of cowhouses, constructed of rubble stone with slate roofs. Various openings and ventilated windows face on to the yard. One section of the roof has collapsed.
Reason for designation
Included largely for group value with the whole of the large and elongated farmyard at Glanmachlas, of interest as a major remodelled estate farm of the mid C19.
