Located immediately opposite (to the S) of the stable and carthouse block, built into a revetted bank on the S side of a service track leading from the kitchen garden to the farmyard.
History
Early C19 ice house, probably contemporary with the general remodelling of the house c1800-1805.
Exterior
Brick ice house of conventional form with limestone rubble front walls raised up over a segmental entrance.
Reason for designation
Listed as a particularly good, unaltered early C19 ice house.
