Cadw's description

An important residential street to the south of the town centre of Monmouth.

This building is probably of two dates as evidenced by the upper floor, but the render hides any confirmation. Early C19, heightened to the front in mid C19.

Interior not seen at resurvey.

Included for its special architectural interest as one of a pair of early C19 houses of definite character with strong group value in Glendower Street.
