Cadw's description

At the main (west) entrance to Golden Grove Park, in Golden Grove village.

Probably contemporary with the late addition of the West Lodge to Golden Grove Park, perhaps c1880.

Two monolith gatepiers close to the West Lodge: plain, with slightly chamfered corners, chevron tooling on faces. Rounded four-faced coping.

Listed for group value with the West Lodge and other listed items of Golden Grove Park and Village.
