Cadw's description

2.5km south of Llannon church, 200m north of the turning to Penderi, on the road to Llanelli.

The road from Llannelli to Llannon was part of the Three Commotts Turnpike Trust system established in the late C18.

Late C18 milestone of limestone bearing the lettering: "From Llandilo / 13 miles / To / Llanelly 4 1/2". The stone is about 500mm high by about 350mm wide, and about 150mm in thickness. The top is roughly rounded.

Listed as a late C18 milestone of characteristic local type.
