Cadw's description
Location
Situated above and to W of Gwernsaer.
History
Outbuilding, probably former cow-house, to Gwernsaer. Earlier C19, with large lean-to on W end, the roof hipped against W gable, a roof-type that seems characteristic of the region.
Exterior
Outbuilding, rubble stone with grouted slate roof, continued as hipped roof over W end lean-to. Coped E gable. Single storey, with ledged door towards right end of S side. Addition in rubble stone with low-pitched corrugated-iron roof on S side of lean-to. N side has 2 doors with slab lintels and one door into lean-to with timber lintel.
Reason for designation
Included for group value with Gwernsaer and as a good example of a small traditional outbuilding.
