Cadw's description
Location
Situated on E side of B4415 some 850m N of junction with B4413 at Rhydgaled and some 600m S of Inkerman Bridge.
History
Milestone, possibly late C18 or early C19, one of a group around the Llyn with single letter initials for place names, this one giving distances to Pwllheli and Sarn. There are others at Uwchmynydd, Aberdaron and Rhiw in Aberdaron C, presumably part of the earliest turnpike in the area.
Exterior
Milestone, rough rubble stone boulder, rounded on top, crudely carved 'P 7' above and 'S4' below.
Reason for designation
One of an unusual series of early milestones with initial letters only for place names.
