The barn occupies the W side of the farmyard, which lies to the SW of the Hall.
History
The barn, serving a farm of 175 acres (70.9ha) in 1841, was rebuilt in 1837 (datestone on exterior).
Exterior
Built of limestone rubble and a slate roof. Seven bays, with cartways in the wider centre bay, tall basket arches. A small oval plaque is set high on the NW face, reading TEBB--DD / 1837. Two tiers of ventilation slits to either side of the cartways, and 3 tiers in both gables. A pitching door occurs on the rear, field, side.
Interior
Six trusses composed of ties and struts to the principal rafters, carrying 2 tiers of purlins. The slates are fully torched. There is a later inserted stage at the S end.
