Cadw's description

Situated at the crossroads in the centre of the village; set in the slope, on the pavement immediately in front of the S side of the Post Office.

Mid C20 telephone kiosk to standard K6 design of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott introduced in 1936. This one made before 1952 by the Lion Foundry, Kirkintilloch.

Red-painted cast-iron kiosk with shallow-domed top over four lunettes with George VI crown. Illuminated lettered panels below. Two sides have horizontal glazing bars with narrow margin-lights. Raised moulded frames. Similar detail to wooden door.

Listed for its prominent location outside the late-Georgian style Post Office.
