Cadw's description

Located in the Severn valley, approximately 2.5Km miles S of Llandinam village, and accessed by a farm road laid along the formation of the former Cambrian Railway line to Llanidloes.

A house of the early C19, of stone, with a brick front elevation and slate roof. Two storeys, 3 bays, the principal elevation facing ESE is symmetrical with a central part-glazed door set in an open pedimented doorcase on scrolled brackets. Semi-circular fanlight with intersecting glazing bars. Windows are 16-pane sashes to both floors, with rubbed brick wedge lintels. The gable stacks are partly external. To the rear, a 2 storey 2-bay rear wing with added lean-to structures on N side and end.

Included as a well preserved example of a modest non-vernacular house of the early C19.
