Cadw's description

Part of a small planned estate grouped around an informal green and set back from the main road immediately N of the Presbyterian Church.

The pair of cottages form part of a small estate of 6 houses built for Lord Davies c1918, and possibly designed by T. Alwyn Lloyd, to house retired employees of the Dinam Estate.

Listed as virtually unaltered early C20 estate cottages in a simple Arts and Crafts style, which with Nos 1-2 and 3-4 Trelonydd form a good example of small-scale garden village planning.
