Situated in Rhydybeillen, on E side of old road, now cul-de-sac, E of present A 487. Milestone is marked slightly further N on O.S.

History

Early C19 milestone on Cardigan to Aberystwyth road, turnpike trust formed 1770. Similar stones from Aberaeron to Cardigan.

Exterior

Whitewashed stone milestone inscribed: "TO CARDIGAN 16 MILES".
