Location
Situated on S side of farmyard at Rhiwbren Fawr.
History
Circa 1800 lofted outbuilding, probably former cow-house. Marked on 1815 map of Llanarth and Llanina.
Exterior
Whitewashed rubble stone with slate roof. Long two-storey range, irregular openings. Ground floor has 8 openings with stone voussoirs, doors except window in third opening, the last two doors close-spaced, and added lean-to to right. Loft has square opening to left of third opening, narrow slit opening to left of sixth, very small window to left of seventh, and opening under eaves over lean-to.
Outside steps to loft door on right end.
Interior
Scarfed trusses with collars.
Reason for designation
Good example of a regional farm building which has group value with Rhiwbren Fawr.
