Location
Situated at the Y-shaped road junction on the eastern edge of the settlement of Twyn Allws and to the east of Pentre Farm. Set into a grassed road-side bank.
Exterior
Early C20, inter-war, cast-iron road-sign in the form of a black and white banded cylindrical post capped by a ring inscribed 'Monmouth CC' and with arms signposted to Govilon and Gilwern; these have unusually large lettering.
Listed as one of the few surviving examples of an early road-sign known to exist in this region.
