Cadw's description

Situated some 300m N of Bwlchygroes crossroad on W side of road.

C19 milepost on Llandysul to New Quay road, probably made by Eagle Foundry, Aberystwyth.

Painted cast-iron triangular plan milepost, hollow, with two faces, one reading NEW QUAY 10 MILES, the other LLANDYSSUL 5 MILES. Chamfered triangular sloping top and raised rolled border. Some damage to left hand side.

Listed as one of a series of similar mileposts with historic interest on A 486.
