Cadw's description

Edwinsford is reached off the B4337 between Llansawel and Talley and is situated on the banks of the River Cothi which is the boundary between the two communities. Ty Peggi is situated on the opposite (N) side of the river from Edwinsford mansion to t

Later C19 cottage formerly belonging to the Edwinsford estate. The derelict mansion was the ancient seat of the Williams family.

Later C19 one and a half storey cottage suitably extended in recent years by one bay to the left. Rubble walls, wooden soffits; projecting eaves. Rubble gable stack to original ends with stone tabling.

Four bay facade, 3 windows to left with pointed brick heads, slightly wider to centre which probably was the original entry.Two-light cast iron latticed casements in timber frames, latticed fanlights. Later bay with C20 door and slate-hung gabled canopy; latticed side-light. Three slate-hung dormers with scalloped bargeboards and 2-light latticed iron casements.

Left end with one single and two 2-light iron latticed casements to each floor. Later rubble rear outshut with 3-pane fixed window, timber lintel. 2-light iron latticed casement to right.

Attractive estate cottage. Group value with mansion and listed estate buildings.
