Location
Located near the centre of Guilsfield, against the front wall of 'Smithy Orchard', close to the driveway to the Old Post Office.
History
Fountain or hydrant of cast iron. C19, by Blakeborough.
Exterior
A short column with a moulded base and shaft terminating in a domed head with a fluted terminal, and having a turn cock at the right side and short spout at the front discharging over a cast iron gridded utensil footstand bolted to the column.
Reason for designation
Listed as one of two best preserved of the eight such fountains installed in Guilsfield.
