Situated on the W side of the road in front of a low rubble wall on the pavement.
Exterior
A C19 cast iron milepost with triangular profile; the S face has, in raised lettering: Harlech 8, the N: Barmouth 2. No visible foundry marks.

Listed for its local historical interest as a surviving C19 milepost.
