Cadw's description

A farm building standing on its own levelled platform to the W of the farmhouse.

Granary. Probably C18.

Timber framed and weatherboarded, with corrugated iron roof, raised 2m high on six 70cm x 70cm brick piers and chamfered stone steps. The area beneath the granary is partially walled up in stone to form animal pens and stores.

Central truss with posts under the single purlins, an arched collar, and struts and curved tension braces between the post and wall plates. Boarded floor.

An interesting example of a raised granary, a rare building type in the Border Counties.
