Location
Situated on road to Brynhenllan, some 100m N of 487.
History
Later C19 house, once typical of those built in Dinas by returning sea-captains. Formerly known as Cambria Villa. Renovated with rear additions c1990.
Exterior
Brown rubble stone with grey limestone dressings, slate roof and brick end stacks. Two storey three-window range of 12-pane sashes with centre door, now fixed small-paned glazing. Grey limestone surrounds with voussoirs, slate hoodmoulds and sills. Bracketed eaves. Grey stone quoins. S end first floor 9-pane window and door. NW C20 addition.
Reason for designation
Included as good example of later C19 Dinas houses with contrasting colour stonework, similar in detail to castle Terrace and Llwynhendy/Hafod Llwyd.
