Location
Opposite the drive to Queensbridge, on the edge of a ditch alongside the main road.
History
Mile post, probably late C18 or early C19.
Exterior
A shallow arched stone, probably c2 fee high, but partially concealed, with a cast iron plate, also round-arched with raised lettering; ‘To Ellesmere 4m Wrexham 8m’.
Reason for designation
A good example of mile post design, of a type which is becoming rare.
