Cadw's description

In a narrow plot of land alongside a lane W of the main settlement of Knolton Bryn.

Small-holders cottage. Early C19.

Brick with slate roof, the building comprises small 2-unit, 2-storeyed cottage with small byre under the same roof. Cottage has doorway to right of centre, with flanking windows renewed in original openings, with single ring cambered brick heads. Upper windows also renewed in original openings, under the eaves. End wall stacks. Byre forms a single build with small window alongside, and loft entry above, all with single ring cambered brick heads. Diamond pattern vent to loft in front elevation.

A good surviving example of a small-holders cottage, of a type once common in Overton, but not rarely surviving in an original condition.
