Cadw's description

Situated some 1.2km SE of Pontseli, S of road to Capel Iwan.

Marked on 1839 Tithe Map, when farm was owned by John Colby and occupied by John Evans.

Earlier C19 farmhouse, roughcast with slate roof and C20 brick end stacks. Two-storey three-window range, 9-pane sashes above, 12-pane below with centre ledged door and overlight. Added right end service range with door and 6-pane sashes each floor and end stack. Rendered rear outshut with 4-pane C19 stair-light.

A good unspoiled example of a regional farmhouse.
