Cadw's description

About 10m S of junction with Caroline Street.

Commercial building dating from the third quarter of C19. 4 storey, 3 bay (eroded) sandstone palazzo fascade with heavily moulded bracket cornice and foliage corbels, rusticated pilasters, sill bands. Tripartite top floor windows with chamfered and scalloped lintels, segmental arched heads to bipartities on second floor with recessed sash windows under shouldered heads. Square-headed bipartites to first floor in segmental arched recesses with tablet-flowers to heads and foliage aprons. Modernised shop front to left with 4-panel recessed door in corner; rectangular entry under roll-moulded band to right hand passage leading to Wyndham Arcade.
