Location
Set back from the quay wall at W bank of New Cut (1845-51). Reset in modern paved terrace with flagstaff; N bollard lower down and closer to river.
Exterior
Mid C19. One inscribed "Ynyscedwyn Iron Works", the notable ironworks at Ystradgynlais. Cast-iron stems, about 2 feet high, with moulded flat rims and hemispherical caps. Embossed lettering round rim.
Fine pair of a notable type of widely exported bollards.
