Location
Located at the end of the tunnel passage under John Francis Chartered Auctioneer's Premises.
Exterior
l849 rebuilding of an earlier chapel of Ca l809. Coursed, squared rubble masonry. Hipped slate roof, plain eaves.
Large round arched window to lst floor. Stone voussoirs, cross window with marginal glazing, stone sill. Good timber Doric portico. Full entablature, moulded modillion cornice, triglyph frieze with guttae. 2 columns, torus bases. Similar pilasters flank entrance. Depressed radial fanlight over 6 panel double doors. Stone staircase with bolection moulded ashlar treads. Iron handrails.
Single round arched windows similar to that on front to end elevations.
