Omschrijving
Ned.Herv.Kerk (St. Egidius). Dorpskerk, in 1491 tot collegiale kerk verheven, nadat in 1483 een kapittel was gesticht. Rechthoekig gesloten koor, exponent van de Scheldegotiek uit omstreeks 1300 met twee lancetvensters, in de puntgevel een klaverbladvormige nis en in de noordgevel een baksteenfries met drieloopboogjes. Driebeukig schip (ca. 1500), waarvan de zijbeuken dwarskapjes en puntgevels hebben. Zuilen met ledestenen banden en koolbladkapitelen. Inventaris: koorhek, ca. 1500, kansel 1613. Gotische grafzerken.

Description
Dutch Reformed Church (St. Egidius). Village church, elevated to collegiate church in 1491, after a chapter was established in 1483. Rectangular closed choir, exponent of Scheldt Gothic from around 1300 with two lancet windows, in the pointed gable a trefoil-shaped niche and in the north gable a brick frieze with three-lobed arches. Three-aisled nave (c. 1500), of which the side aisles have transverse roof caps and pointed gables. Columns with ledge stone bands and crocket capitals. Inventory: choir screen, c. 1500, pulpit 1613. Gothic tombstones.
