Omschrijving
R.K. Kerk (St. Pancratius). Driebeukige kruisbasiliek in neogotische trant met 5/8 gesloten koor, geflankeerd door 3/8 gesloten kapellen en driezijdig gesloten dwarsschipsarmen. Hoge toren met ingesnoerde naaldspits. Het bouwwerk is ontworpen door Alfred Tepe en gebouwd van 1895-'97. Meubilair van Willem Mengelberg. Klokkenstoel met gelui van drie klokken van G. van Wou, 1496, respectievelijk diam. 142,2 cm., 127 cm. en 113,8 cm. Oorspronkelijk hebben deze klokken in de Hervormde Kerk (voormalige R.K. Kerk H.H. Georgius en Pancratius) gehangen. Sedert 1839 in deze kerk. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, is buiten gebruik gesteld. R.C. Church (St. Pancratius). Three-aisled cross basilica in neo-Gothic manner with 5/8 closed choir, flanked by 3/8 closed chapels and three-sided closed transept arms. High tower with tapered needle spire. The building was designed by Alfred Tepe and built from 1895-'97. Furnishings by Willem Mengelberg. Bell frame with a set of three bells by G. van Wou, 1496, respectively diameter 142.2 cm., 127 cm. and 113.8 cm. Originally these bells hung in the Reformed Church (former R.C. Church H.H. Georgius and Pancratius). In this church since 1839. Mechanical tower clock, is out of service. Church and tower fulfil an important urban planning function in the harmonious whole of the castle with the adjoining part of the town. Organ with two manuals and pedals from 1906 by the organ maker Maarschalkerweerd & Zoon.
