Omschrijving
Gemeenlandshuis van Diemen. Rechthoekig gebouw (1726 door Cornelis van der Does) onder door vier schoorstenen bekroond schilddak, de gevels voorzien van hoeklisenen en de voorgevel van een middenrisaliet met versierde ingangspartij waarin een chronogram. In de linkerzijgevel een wapensteen afkomstig uit het voorafgaande gemeenlandshuis (1609). Goede roedenverdeling. Inwendig: rijk versierde stucgang door Christiaan Wittenbeeker, twee schouwen en trap door Pieter le Normand.

Description
Gemeenlandshuis of Diemen. Rectangular building (1726 by Cornelis van der Does) under hipped roof crowned by four chimneys, the facades provided with corner pilasters and the front facade with a central risalit with decorated entrance section in which a chronogram. In the left side facade a coat-of-arms stone from the preceding gemeenlandshuis (1609). Fine glazing bars. Internally: richly decorated stucco corridor by Christiaan Wittenbeeker, two fireplaces and staircase by Pieter le Normand.
