Station N.S. Station der v.m. Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg Maatschappij, gebouwd plm 1874. Hoewel gewijzigd nog goed het karakter weergevend van een station in eclectische "chaletstijl" met veel in hout uitgezaagd ornament ("schortjes" langs de daken, perronoverkapping). Als station bij een Koninklijke residentie voorzien van enige uitzonderlijke elementen als balcon boven de perronoverkapping, voormalige loggia's en buitentrappen.

Description
Station N.S. Station of the former Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg Maatschappij, built around 1874. Although altered, still well reflecting the character of a station in eclectic "chalet style" with much ornament cut out in wood ("aprons" along the roofs, platform canopy). As a station at a Royal residence provided with some exceptional elements such as a balcony above the platform canopy, former loggias and outside stairs.
