Groep van drie etagewoonhuizen elk bestaand uit bel-etage, drie woonverdiepingen en een kapverdieping, gebouwd in een mengvorm van gotiserende en "chalet-"stijl, naar ontwerp van A.C. Boerma, 1884. De panden zijn opgetrokken in baksteen, afgewisseld met natuursteenblokken en -banden, en voorzien van houten erkerpartijen. Het middelste pand wordt afgedekt door een dwarsgeplaatst zadeldak met deklijst, de twee - van topgevels voorziene - panden te weerszijden elk door een afgeplat tentdak waarin dakkapellen; en bekroond door een schoorsteen, de topgevels worden afgedekt door een zadeldak met groot overstek en gesneden daklijsten en in driepasvorm opengewerkte windveren, met gesneden dierenkoppen aan de uiteinden. Description
Group of three apartment buildings each consisting of a bel-etage, three residential storeys and a garret storey, built in a mixed form of gothicising and "chalet" style, designed by A.C. Boerma, 1884. The buildings are constructed in brickwork, alternated with natural stone blocks and bands, and provided with wooden bay window sections. The middle building is topped by a transversely placed gabled roof with drip moulding, the two buildings with stepped gables on either side each by a flattened tent roof with roof dormers; and crowned by a chimney, the stepped gables are covered by a gabled roof with large overhang and carved roof mouldings and openwork wind vanes in trefoil form, with carved animal heads at the ends. Windows and further detailing from the building period. At the bay windows and at the stepped gables sitting putti and goblins (who toss the ball to each other). A group of richly decorated dwellings, with motifs inspired by the Gothic - pointed arch-shaped entrance porticos, trefoils, wrought-iron crowning with flower, clustered pilasters at the bay windows, etc. - and figures based on their own fantasy - goblins and putti - in a remarkable application of styles.
