Verdedigingswerken. Een restant van de stadsmuur van 1573 is blootgelegd aan de zuidzijde van het Victoriepark. In de smalle zijde gedenksteen ter herinnering aan het bezoek van H.M. Koningin Juliana in 1952.

Fortifications. A remnant of the city wall of 1573 has been uncovered on the south side of the Victoriepark. On the narrow side a memorial stone in remembrance of the visit of H.M. Queen Juliana in 1952.
