Fraai hoekpand gedateerd 1663 met langsgevel aan de Laat. In de Kapelsteeg bakstenen, door pinakel bekroonde trapgevel, waaraan natuurstenen is toegepast voor de platen op de treden, voor de waterlijsten, de cartouchevormige omlijstingen der beide vlieringvensters, voor de aanzet- en sluitstenen der ontlastingsbogen boven de vensters en tenslotte voor de cartouches met datering 1663 en gevelstenen in de borstwering boven de pui. Korfboogvormige ontlastingsbogen met gebeeldhouwd engelenkopje als sluitsteen boven de negenruitsschuifvensters van de eerste en een strekse boog boven het zesruitsschuifvenster van de zolderverdieping. Description
Fine corner building dated 1663 with long side on the Laat. In the Kapelsteeg brick, stepped gable crowned by pinnacle, to which ashlar has been applied for the plates on the steps, for the drip mouldings, the cartouche-shaped mouldings of both attic windows, for the setting and closing stones of the relieving arches above the windows and finally for the cartouches with dating 1663 and gable stones in the breastwork above the front. Basket-arch-shaped relieving arches with sculpted cherub head as voussoir stone above the nine-pane sash windows of the first floor and a stretching arch above the six-pane sash window of the attic floor. Ornamental wall anchors: hoist anchor in the top. Attic hatch. Moulded front beam. Eight-pane sash window in the Empire style in the front. Fanlight with carved work. In the side gable six- and twelve-pane sash windows. 17th century.
