Herv.Kerk. In het refectorium van de overigens verwoeste Cistercienzer Abdij is de Hervormde kerk gevestigd. Rijk specimen van 13e eeuwse Gron. baksteen-architectuur. De kerk bezit: preekstoel 1723, koorafsluiting, XVIII. Avondmaalstafel begin XVIIIe eeuw, twee koperen lezenaars, kaarsen- en zandloperhouder, herenbank Lewe van Berum, minstens drie zerken, vloer van middeleeuwse tegels; klok uit 1554.

Reformed Church. In the refectory of the otherwise destroyed Cistercian Abbey the Reformed church is housed. Rich specimen of 13th century Groningen brickwork architecture. The church possesses: pulpit 1723, choir enclosure, 18th century. Communion table early 18th century, two brass lecterns, candlestick and sand-glass holder, gentlemen's bench Lewe van Berum, at least three gravestones, floor of medieval tiles; bell from 1554.
