Omschrijving
O.Z. Huiszittenaalmoezeniershuis. Complex bestaande uit een hoofdgebouw en de daarachter gelegen galerijen om een binnenplaats (1654-1656 door Hendrik Jacobusz. Staets). Strak rechthoekig hoofdgebouw onder schilddak met rondbogige dakkapellen. Voor- en achtergevels met middenrisalieten onder frontons; versierde stoep (XVIIIA). Galerijen met rondboogvensters tussen lisenen. In de erfmuur aan de Nieuwe Amstelstraat een poortje met Toscaanse pilasters, gebeeldhouwd fries en fronton. Inwendig: uit de bouwtijd voorhuis met wand- en plafondschilderingen en deuromlijstingen; in de rechterzaal een schouw (waarin latere schoorsteen XVIII), geschilderd plafond en gesneden deuromlijsting.

Description
O.Z. Huiszittenaalmoezeniershuis. Complex consisting of a main building and the galleries behind it around a courtyard (1654-1656 by Hendrik Jacobusz. Staets). Rigidly rectangular main building under hipped roof with round-arched roof dormers. Front and rear facades with central risalits under pediments; decorated stoep (first half of 18th century). Galleries with round-arched windows between pilasters. In the boundary wall on the Nieuwe Amstelstraat a small gate with Tuscan pilasters, sculptured frieze and pediment. Internally: front hall from the building period with wall and ceiling paintings and door surrounds; in the right room a fireplace (with later chimney 18th century), painted ceiling and carved door surround.
