Omschrijving
Verpakkingsgebouw, onderdeel van het fabriekscomplex ENCI (Eerste Nederlandse Cement Industrie). Het verpakkingsgebouw uit 1927-1928 is ontworpen door architect Frits Peutz in samenwerking met Herman de Ronde. Het gebouw werd in meerdere bouwfasen uitgebreid. Na de demping van het kanaal Luik-Maastricht in de jaren zestig van de twintigste eeuw, werd het gebouw voorzien van een transportband en een transporteur op de kade aan de Maas.

Description
Packaging building, part of the ENCI factory complex (Eerste Nederlandse Cement Industrie). The packaging building from 1927-1928 was designed by architect Frits Peutz in collaboration with Herman de Ronde. The building was expanded in several construction phases. After the infilling of the Liège-Maastricht canal in the 1960s, the building was fitted with a conveyor belt and a conveyor on the quay at the Maas.
