Omschrijving
In het duinlandschap, ten oosten van de begraafplaats, gelegen BEHEERDERSWONING uit 1948 in carboonzandsteen, bestaande uit een rechthoekig bouwblok van twee bouwlagen met een betonnen daklijst en plat dak, en een lagere langgerekte smalle uitbouw aan de zuidzijde met een lezenaarsdak. De oorspronkelijk open westgevel van de uitbouw is enkele jaren na de bouw van een glazen pui voorzien. De lage uitbouw diende oorspronkelijk als ontvangstruimte na afloop van herdenkingsbijeenkomsten. Het is thans onderdeel van de woning en functioneert tijdens gedenkingen nog altijd als ontvangstruimte.
Waardering
De in het duinlandschap gelegen BEHEERDERSWONING bevat verschillende authentieke details en is qua structuur gaaf bewaard gebleven. De beheerderswoning heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de passende vormgeving en materialisatie in relatie tot de erebegraafplaats. Het heeft een historisch-functionele betekenis voor de totstandkoming en instandhouding van de erebegraafplaats en als ontvangstruimte bij herdenkingsbijeenkomsten.

A CARETAKER'S HOUSE from 1948 located in the dune landscape, to the east of the cemetery, in carboon sandstone, consisting of a rectangular building block of two storeys with a concrete eaves beam and flat roof, and a lower elongated narrow extension on the south side with a roof with a lectern pitch. The originally open west gable of the extension was given a glazed frontage several years after the building's construction. The low extension originally served as a reception room following commemorative gatherings. It is now part of the house and still functions as a reception room during commemorations.
Valuation
The CARETAKER'S HOUSE located in the dune landscape retains various authentic details and is in good condition as to its structure. The caretaker's house has architectural-historical value on account of its appropriate design and materialisation in relation to the war cemetery. It has historical-functional significance for the establishment and maintenance of the war cemetery and as a reception room for commemorative gatherings.
